Muse: Christmas Visions

Hi everyone!
My card today is inspired by Birgit's two cards over at Muse: Christmas Visions.  I love that she shared two cards and we could be inspired by one or both of the cards.  I took a little bit of inspiration from both of her cards.  The black silhouette caroler from the first card and the frame from the second card.  This was not the plan in my head when I first started out, but I think it turned out ok.  Now that I see the card on my computer screen, I am thinking the star should have been placed a bit higher.  Bummer.  It is not moving so I am going with it.  :)

I am also adding this over at Christmas Card Challenges: Anything goes.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Merry Christmas

Hi everyone!  I am sharing a one layer card today using Clearly Whimsy stamps.  I created a mask using my Lil' Inker stitched circle dies.  Sponged some ink around the edges of the circle, leaving a bit of white in the center.  I then stamped the Mistletoe from Christmas Greeting stamp set using the same green ink.  The sentiment is from Scandi Christmas.  Added a bow using red & white twine to finish it off.

I am adding this over at Christmas Card Challenge: Anything Goes.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

CASEing Kelly Blog Hop

Hi everyone!  I am super duper excited for today's very special blog hop for the amazingly talented and oh-so-sweet, Kelly Latevola.  This hop is comprised of a group of crafters each saying “thank you” to Kelly for all her generosity and kindheartedness.

If you have never been over to Kelly's blog, You and Your Big Dreams, you need to head on over and plan on spending a good amount of time there. In Kelly’s CASEing Genius posts, she always takes THREE cards from the designer she is CASEing, and makes ONE card inspired by those three cards.  This CASEing Genius feature is the original starting inspiration for this hop.  HERE'S my feature day.

A huge thank you to Nina and Marika for putting this all together.

Here are Kelly's three cards I chose to CASE.

LOVE the graphic design here and of course, the rainbow colors.

Another graphic card using rainbow colors.  Love the stripes down the side.

Inlaid & popped up die cutting, what's not to love?!

The CASE:

If you know me well, you know I LOVE creating cards using rainbow colors so that was definitely my inspiration from Kelly's first two cards.  I just had to use the inlaid and popped up die cutting technique Kelly used on her third card.  LOVE that so much!  I chose a sentiment that had both scripty and typewriter fonts as Kelly did on all three of her cards.

What is a blog hop without some fun prizes?! Leave a comment by 11:59 pm EDT on Thursday, October 29th along each stop in the hop to increase your chances of winning a prize from one of our sponsors: a2z Scrapbooking, Altenew, Create a Smile Stamps, Dee's Artsy Impressions, DJ Kard Kreations, Hero Arts, Ink Road, Lia Stampz and Simon Says Stamp,! Merry Monday #177

Hi everyone!
Time for another Merry Monday Challenge.
This week Wendy challenges us to create a Christmas card with Christmas lights & glitter.

I had many ideas for this challenge but decided to make a clean and simple card using Tis the Season stamp set from the Essentials by Ellen line and this adorable scallop tag by Cas-ual Fridays!  My glitter is red glimmer paper by Stampin' Up!

Make sure you check out the other DT members cards over at the Merry Monday challenge blog.
I hope you will join us!

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!
