Masculine birthday

Happy Monday everyone!
I am popping in really quick with a birthday card for my nephew.  His birthday is today and this is the card I made for him using the new Stamp of Approval Lovely Notes Collection.

I first stamped the background using Lovely Lattice, then I found a small circle stamp and used that to stamp inside the open areas.  The sentiment stamp is called Fill-in-the-blank birthday.  Layered the sentiment onto black and Ocean Tides card stock to add a little more interest to the design.

I will add this over at Seize the Birthday-no toppings for me this week.  :)

I am off to enjoy this beautiful day with my kids.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

STAMP OF APPROVAL LOVELY NOTES BLOG HOP

Hi everyone! I am so excited to be participating in a blog hop celebrating the release of the Stamp of Approval Lovely Notes Collection.  Today myself and many of my favorite designers are sharing cards using the Lovely Notes collection.  The Stamp of Approval is an exclusive collection of stamps, dies and accessories hand picked by Catherine Pooler.

The box goes up for sale tomorrow at 10am.  StampNation members get the sales link one hour earlier at 9am EST.

**The box is only available while supplies last.**
Make sure that you are on the Wait List to be notified when it is available.

My first card features the Concentric Circles die and Handpainted Thanks stamp set.

I am in LOVE with this new Concentric Circles die!  It is so awesome!  I used the inlaid die cutting technique on this card and also some masking and sponging.  AND that Thanks sentiment, yes please!!!  I used only the solid image, but there are two other stamps in the set to create a handpainted look.   So fun!!!

My next card features Wonderful Wreath & Butterfly Notes stamp sets.

Isn't this wreath swoon worthy?!  I just love it.  I stamped it going off my white panel then added the flowers and bow.   I am absolutely in love with the font on this thank you from the Butterfly Notes stamp set!  There are other sentiment stamps in this set that you can stamp under the thank you as well.

My last card features Butterfly Notes & Lovely Flowers stamp sets.

I love all the butterflies in the Butterfly Notes stamp set, but I am a bit partial to this one.  I used my Misti to stamp them down the center of my card.  The sentiment is from the Lovely Flowers stamp set.  Added a few sparkly clear sequins & some black and white twine to finish off this one layer card.

Make sure to leave a comment on each stop along the hop.  Three lucky commenters will win a Stamp of Approval box.   The more times you comment, the more chances you will have to win!

You've got until Thursday at 9:00AM EST to get those comments in. The winners will be announced on Catherine's blog!  Good luck and happy hopping!

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Lovely Notes Stamp of Approval Preview

Happy Saturday everyone!
The newest Stamp of Approval Collection from Catherine Pooler is being released next week.  Catherine has been sharing peeks of the items included in the collection the past few days over on her blog
Have you checked them out?  She shared the last peek today.

Today's card uses some of the stamps included in this amazing collection.

Today is my niece's 9th birthday and this is the card I made for her.  I used one of the butterflies from the Butterfly Notes stamp set to create my own patterned paper.  Then I stamped the Fill-in-the-blank Birthday stamp set.  I love this stamp set so much and I know I will use it over and over again for the many birthday cards I send out.  The "niece" stamp is separate.  The set comes with 17 separate stamps you can use to personalize your card.  So cool, right?!!!

The first blog hop is tomorrow.   You can start at Catherine's blog, hop along and leave comments for your chance to win this collection.  There will be two other blog hops on Monday and Tuesday.  So you have 3 chances to win this collection.

Make sure you are on the WAIT LIST to be the first to know when this collection is available.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day!

Muse: Christmas Visions

Hi everyone!
I know it has been a bit quite here on my blog.  Summer is busy with the kids and me wanting to spend as much time with them as I can.

I also have been busy behind the scenes creating some goodies for the next Stamp of Approval collection, which goes on sale July 13th to StampNation members that are on the Wait List.  Sneak peeks will start July 7th on Catherine's blog.  Full details of dates, etc. on Catherine's post HERE.

My card today was inspired by Marianne's beautiful card over at Muse: Christmas Visions.  I pulled out my World Ornament stamp by Hero Arts.  Stamped and embossed using Silver Pearl Embossing powder.  I then colored in with one of my Zig Markers.  I used my Versamark marker to create the chain from the top of the card and embossed using the same embossing powder.  The bow is from Papertrey ink and the banner sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.  I wanted to add some more detail around the edge so I pulled out my Silly Stitched Die set by Lil' Inker designs.  I love that little detail.

Also, over at StampNation we have a FREE summer-long event.  It is called...

This event will cover the basics, products, techniques, and tips on heat embossing.  Come and join us for the event for July & August.  It's going to be fun!!!
